Overseas Adventure Travel Discounts

How I Save Money On
Overseas Adventure Travel
Here's One Way You Can Save
OAT offers a $100 discount on a first trip for travelers referred by an OAT traveler.
That's where I can help.
If you're considering your first OAT trip and would like to receive the referral discount, let OAT know that Jesse Slome, The Thrifty Senior Traveler, referred you.
Say "I was referred by Jesse Slome, his OAT traveler number is 932019".
It's a simple way to save $100 — and if you're going to take the trip anyway, why leave $100 on the table? Full disclosure: I receive a 1-time (just once) credit towards my next OAT trip. After that, you get to earn referral credits!
Why I Keep Going Back
I've traveled with OAT enough times that I wouldn't keep booking trips if I didn't think the experience was worth it.
What I particularly enjoy is the combination of small-group travel, local experiences and the opportunity to see places beyond the typical tourist stops.
I've also learned that the best trip isn't necessarily the cheapest trip.
I'm looking for value. There's a difference.
For me, being thrifty means finding ways to spend less without sacrificing the things that make a trip memorable.
Before You Book
Here are a few things I'd recommend doing before booking any O.A.T. adventure:
Compare itineraries. Don't choose a trip simply because the destination sounds familiar. Look at what you'll actually be doing each day.
Check what's included. Airfare, transfers, meals, hotels and excursions can vary. Look at the entire package rather than focusing only on the advertised trip price.
Look at the dates. If you're flexible, different departure dates can sometimes offer different pricing or availability.
Ask about available savings. And if this is your first OAT trip, don't forget to mention the $100 referral discount.
A Personal Recommendation
I don't pretend that OAT is the right travel company for everyone.
But after 19 trips, I can tell you that I obviously like what they do.
That's why I've included OAT among Jesse's Picks here on The Thrifty Senior Traveler.
If you're interested in exploring their trips, you can start by looking at what they offer—and if you decide to book your first adventure, remember to mention that Jesse Slome, #932019 ... The Thrifty Senior Traveler, referred you.
Travel more. Spend wisely. And whenever someone offers you $100 off, take it.

If you're considering an Overseas Adventure Travel (OAT) trip, there's a good chance you're wondering the same thing I do before every trip:
How can I get the experience I want without
paying more than I have to?
I've taken 19 OAT trips over the years, so I've had plenty of opportunities to learn what works — and what doesn't. That's one reason I created this website for other thrifty senior travelers.
The good news is that you don't necessarily have to wait for a big sale to save money on an OAT adventure.
Considering your first trip with Overseas Adventure Travel? Here's a way to save $100-per-person. And, to show your appreciation for my Thrifty Senior Traveler website.
