I'm building this section of Thrifty Senior Traveler to share our experiences with Overseas Adventure Travel—and, eventually, detailed reviews and tips from each trip.
I took my first Overseas Adventure Travel (OAT) trip to Vietnam in 2005. Clearly, we like them—we've taken 19 OAT trips to date. And, along the way, we've travelled with people who have taken 20, 30 and even 40 OAT trips (often taking the same tour multiple times). That says a lot.
They are not for everyone. But, they offer great tour packages, excellent value, and elements that other tour companies don't offer.
